Q:During the Spanish American War, yellow journalism was used by American newspapers to gain support for the war. Check out the PBS website Crucible of Empire, and their story about yellow journalism during the war. After gaining an understanding for the concept, find an example of how yellow journalism is used today. For this post, quote a news headline and then comment on how it relates to yellow journalism used during the war. Blog about it.
A: Well one example of yellow journalism used today is false information magazines like when you see the front cover of a magazine and its covering the face of someones body and then making sure theirs a bad statement so you see and it will pull you immediately in wanting to know more, but really the only thing your looking at is things being blowed up by magnifications . And now these days anyone has access to programs for their computers that edit bodies or anything. So with that high technology you can do anything to humilate anyone.
"The Jeans No Man Should Ever Own"
This magazine title is an example of yellow jouralism. And it relates to the wars jouralists because even then magazines were doing anything to grab people's attention through their writing, so they could get the most profit.
