Weekly Article #2

John Wayne and Hollywood have portrayed the American Cowboy (http://youtu.be/MHVSCribt3U) in a way that has made this "man" an icon in the history of the United States. While Wayne's portrayal was not always historic in nature, cowboy photographer Erwin E. Smith's was. Choose a photo from Smith's collection and discuss in your article the truths about the American Cowboy. Some things that you could discuss are the struggles and realities of the job, or how Hollywood's portrayal differed from real life

Answer:
I think the struggles in this job is that you have to train these broncos, and sometimes their not always cooperative. By trying to train them it's an all day job, working really hard by training the broncos by what is right and wrong and what they should and should not be doing. Feeding, grooming, cleaning up after them, maybe even getting them sold to a new owner. Maybe your a breeder and you get two broncos to make a new born then you train them and then they get sold. Realities of this job is that you really have to try, and truly care to make them the strongest they are capable of being.
